This unique integration of services began when Joan and Dragana worked together in a pilot program at the Women’s Pelvic Health Centre at Sunnybrook and Women’s College Health Sciences Centre during 2002 -2004. We found that combining counseling, education, relaxation training and physiotherapy was a terrific approach for women with sexual pain. We are now pleased to be affiliated with the Fe/Male Health Centre in Oakville.
Joan Marsman M.Sc, combines her skills as a registered Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Sex Therapist to provide an integrated approach to her work with individual and couples. With over 20 years of professional experience in the field of sexual health, Joan has training in sexual trauma, brief therapy and couple therapy.
Dragana Susic BScPT, RPT is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions. She integrates body-mind approach with practical, individually centered techniques to help individuals dealing with symptoms from various pelvic disorders.
Richard Casey M.D.,F.R.C.S (c) is the Director of the Fe/Male Health Centres. He is available for medical consultation.
